Bento fully intelligent genetic testing portable device is a portable genomic device. The compact Bento Lab includes a thermal cycle module (1), a microcentrifuge (2), a blue LED transmission meter (3), and a gel electrophoresis power supply (4) for use with an external gel electrophoresis container (4). The system operates using an intuitive onboard graphical interface (5) and is equipped with a convenient pipe rack (6).

There are three physical buttons in the laboratory. The blue circular button (1) under the screen is the HOME button, which always takes the user back to the overview screen where they can select all the different modules. The arrow shaped green button (2) is a back button that takes the user one step back or undo the operation based on the context. In addition, there is an orange click dial (3) used to select elements on the screen and change values.

The gel box is inserted on the side of the laboratory. When the current passes through, the indicator light is on.

Bento Lab is equipped with an external gel electrophoresis container, which has two rubber dams to create a buffer belt during the casting process, a 9-hole comb and a 12 hole comb. The current of gel electrophoresis is connected to the cover of the laboratory gel electrophoresis power supply. This cover can also serve as a blue filter light transmitter. Provide external power supply for the laboratory. Unpacking inspection Carefully open the package to ensure the laboratory, including pipe rack and gel box, power supply. If there is any damage to the device, please contact us and keep the packaging for returning the device for repair.

Packaging of the laboratory - keep the packaging, and return the service equipment with three orange ribbons attached to the base of the bento laboratory to ensure that the pipe rack and gel box are transported. They can be stored by being fixed around opposite feet.

As shown in the above picture, pulling the orange ribbon onto the other foot makes it easy to store the ribbon.

Ensure that BENTO LAB is placed on a solid, horizontal surface that can support its weight.

Chapter 2- Interface

Overview of Laboratory User Interface. Explain the function of each button and common elements on the graphical user interface used to operate the device.

The laboratory has a LCD display (1) and three buttons. The blue button (2) under the screen is the main button, which always takes the user back to the main screen. The large and round orange button (3) is used to dial and select elements on the screen. The green back button (4) is shaped like a left arrow. It is used to return a step in the interface.

Home screen

When the laboratory is opened, the main screen is displayed by default. From here, you can select each module (1), and the current status is displayed in the status area (2).

In the following example, the symbol under the PCR icon indicates that the PCR program has been completed. If a process is running (such as gel electrophoresis or centrifuge timer, or PCR is running), a countdown clock will be visible.

In addition, the WiFi status is displayed in the upper left corner (3).

You can use orange click dialing to select individual modules. Simply rotate and click dial to highlight the desired module, then push it into the interface of that module. The modules on the main screen are, from left to right, gel electrophoresis and transillumination, centrifuge, thermal cycle.

change value

Some buttons contain operable values. These include, for example, time and temperature values.

To change the value on a button, first use the orange click dial to navigate to the button and highlight it. Then, push and hold the tap dial while rotating it. This will adjust the value upwards (clockwise rotation) or downwards (counterclockwise rotation). When releasing click dialing, a new value will be set.

The value of any button can be operated in this way, and there is a circular icon on the right side of the button displaying upward and leftward arrows.
