The high-speed centrifuge can reach a speed of over 10000rpm and has the performance and structure of a cryogenic centrifuge. In addition, the angular rotor used in high-speed centrifuges is mostly made of titanium alloy or aluminum alloy. The centrifuge tube is a covered polyethylene hard plastic product. This type of centrifuge is commonly used for collecting microorganisms, cell debris, cells, large organelles, sulfuric acid precipitates, and immunoprecipitates. So, what does a high-speed centrifuge consist of?
1. Shell:
The shell is composed of front and rear panels, left and right panels, upper panel, bottom plate, and four casters. Spray dark gray enamel paint on the outer surface of the machine. The rear panel and left and right panels are detachable, and the upper panel is equipped with a centrifuge chamber cover plate. A control box and display panel are located at the rear of the cover plate.
The panel is equipped with various control switches and buttons, as well as instruments for display and adjustment. The start button is used to control the power supply and the startup of various selection parts; The time control button is used in conjunction with the time control clock to preset and control the working time of the centrifuge; When the brake button is pressed, it will accelerate and stop the vehicle; The freezing button is used to control the on/off of the refrigeration machine; In addition to the function buttons, there are also a speed display gauge and a temperature adjustment indicator gauge.
2. Centrifugal chamber:
The centrifuge chamber (rotary head chamber) is a cylindrical cavity containing a rotary head that can accommodate 6 test tubes. The centrifugal chamber walls are made of stainless steel plates. A cold plate tube is installed closely to the inner wall to reduce the temperature of the centrifuge chamber. A thermal insulation layer is arranged between the inner wall and the outer wall of the centrifuge, and the thermal insulation layer is provided with hard foamed plastic or haijin and other thermal insulation materials.
3. High speed transmission:
A high-speed gearbox is a transmission device connected to the main shaft of an electric motor. The installation method is to place the high-speed transmission bracket on the bottom plate away from the ventricle, and then firmly fix it on the bottom plate with fixing bolts. Remove the horizontal rotor from the motor spindle and place the active disc. Pay attention to pouring a certain amount of lubricating oil into the shaft hole sleeve of the motor spindle (drive shaft) to prevent sharp whistling caused by dry friction during high-speed operation.
The variable speed shaft of the high-speed transmission regulator should be vertically inserted into the shaft sleeve and fixed with anti slip hooks. Connect the large disc on the motor spindle to the variable speed shaft with a drive belt, then tighten the belt with a tightening wrench, place the angle rotor on the variable speed shaft, and complete the installation of the entire high-speed regulator. Before use, carefully check whether there are any abnormalities or looseness in the moving parts. If there are, adjust and correct them in a timely manner. Only after confirming that there are no abnormalities can centrifugal operation be carried out.
4. Turn your head:
The centrifuge is equipped with three different types of rotors. The * * * type is a small aluminum angle rotor used on high-speed transmissions. The second type is a horizontal rotor directly installed on the motor spindle, which can accommodate six larger glass test tubes. The third type of rotor is an angle rotor directly installed on the motor spindle.
5. Freezing device:
The freezing device of the centrifuge adopts vapor compression refrigeration. Vapor compression refrigeration consists of components such as a compressor, condenser, expansion valve, evaporator, etc. Its function is to lower the temperature of the centrifuge chamber.
